Nicholas has been an entrepreneur in institutional asset management for 25 years, half of which were dedicated to building a global USD 15 Bn AUM multi-strategy hedge fund business. He was a co-founder of various startup’s including a social listening AI & big data company in Asia. His expertise is in extracting risk premia from traditional and alternative markets and cross asset strategy allocation. His passion is with competitive and innovative teams from business to sports. Nicholas holds a PhD in quantitative finance and a lic. oec. both from the University of St. Gallen, a BSc from the University of Cologne and completed the BoT Program from IMD.

Lara is responsible for a range of operational functions at FAM and oversees the design and implementation of business strategies. She started her career in financial markets in 2007 and has ample experience working with UHNWI, establishing relationships, and addressing specific client needs. Lara graduated summa cum laude from Northwood University in Midland, MI with a B.B.A. in Management and holds a Master in Liberal Arts (ALM) in extension studies, in Anthropology and Archaeology from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.

Christophe has a background in structured finance and M&A. At FAM, he is involved in supporting portfolio management tasks of l/s and l/o strategies. He holds a bachelor degree in Economics and Finance and is currently pursuing a master degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance. He is a competitive tennis player and lifelong skier.

As a Swiss certified banker and with a degree from the Swiss Finance Institute, Juergen has been active in International Wealth Management since 1992. He worked with several Swiss banks helping international private clients to manage and protect their wealth. He joined Fairway in 2018. Juergen is married and has two daughters.

Board Member

Benedikt Czok has been managing partner of the 1741 Group since 2016. He studied law at the University of Zurich between 2004 and 2009 and received his doctorate from the same institution in 2010. After working for a Zurich law firm, after his admission as Attorney-at-Law in 2012, he joined the Raiffeisen Switzerland Group as Legal Counsel. Before he was managing partner of the 1741 Group, he served as General Counsel in Asset Management of the Raiffeisen Switzerland Group. Benedikt Czok has outstanding expertise of national as well as international fund law and related supervisory practice. He advises numerous asset managers, management companies, and distributors in Switzerland and abroad. Benedikt Czok is a German citizen and speaks German, English, and Polish.

Anna is responsible for all compliance-related topics. She holds several diplomas in legal studies, mainly from Switzerland and Liechtenstein. From June 2016 till August 2022, she advised clients of LLB Fund Services AG on Liechtenstein and European Investment Fund Laws and was a member of various working groups of Liechtenstein Investment Fund Association. From 2009 to 2016 she held various legal & advisory positions in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, i.a. for LLB Fund Services AG, Kaiser Partner Trust Services AG, CACEIS Switzerland SA, and for a life insurance company. Anna can communicate in six languages and negotiate in four. She spends her free time walking in the mountains, biking or with piloxing workouts.

Mirjam has extensive experience in advisory and execution of local and international standardized options and futures, and she is an expert in the E-Connectivity Analytic Business. At FAM, she is responsible for the Portfolio Management System, which includes onboarding new clients/brokers and First level Support for all kinds of requests (trade execution and coordination between Risk Management/Middle Office). She holds a diploma as a Certified International Investment Analyst (AZEK), Financial Planner (IfFP), and the EUREX/EEX Trade Examination.

Michail serves as the risk manager at FAM, overseeing the portfolios and mandates. He holds an integrated master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences, as well as an MSc in Data Science from ETH Zurich. In his free time, Michail enjoys traveling and powerlifting. His interests include history, politics, and engaging in debates.
