CEO

Nicholas has been an entrepreneur in institutional asset management for 25 years, half of which were dedicated to building a global USD 15 Bn AUM multi-strategy hedge fund business. He was a co-founder of various startup’s including a social listening AI & big data company in Asia. His expertise is in extracting risk premia from traditional and alternative markets and cross asset strategy allocation. His passion is with competitive and innovative teams from business to sports. Nicholas holds a PhD in quantitative finance and a lic. oec. both from the University of St. Gallen, a BSc from the University of Cologne and completed the BoT Program from IMD.

Board Member

Benedikt Czok has been managing partner of the 1741 Group since 2016. He studied law at the University of Zurich between 2004 and 2009 and received his doctorate from the same institution in 2010. After working for a Zurich law firm, after his admission as Attorney-at-Law in 2012, he joined the Raiffeisen Switzerland Group as Legal Counsel. Before he was managing partner of the 1741 Group, he served as General Counsel in Asset Management of the Raiffeisen Switzerland Group. Benedikt Czok has outstanding expertise of national as well as international fund law and related supervisory practice. He advises numerous asset managers, management companies, and distributors in Switzerland and abroad. Benedikt Czok is a German citizen and speaks German, English, and Polish.

Mirjam has extensive experience in advisory and execution of local and international standardized options and futures, and she is an expert in the E-Connectivity Analytic Business. At FAM, she is responsible for the Portfolio Management System, which includes onboarding new clients/brokers and First level Support for all kinds of requests (trade execution and coordination between Risk Management/Middle Office). She holds a diploma as a Certified International Investment Analyst (AZEK), Financial Planner (IfFP), and the EUREX/EEX Trade Examination.

Michail serves as a portfolio associate at FAM, assisting in the construction and management of portfolios. He holds an integrated master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences, as well as an MSc in Data Science from ETH Zurich. In his free time, Michail enjoys traveling and powerlifting. His interests include history, politics, and engaging in debates.

Felix has 30 years of experience in institutional asset management, wealth management, and risk management. In 2013, he launched a strategy fund that has since received multiple awards. Additionally, he managed mandates for collective foundations and served on investment committees. He began his career at UBS AG, where, as an Executive Director and team leader, he was responsible for tax-optimized equity and bond funds, multi-asset overlay funds, strategic asset allocation, and providing expert guidance on derivatives in global wealth management. Felix is a graduate of the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG) with a focus on financial market theory and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He was also involved in an expert commission on the regulation of Swiss investment funds with regard to credit derivatives on behalf of UBS.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence in the financial sector.

Christophe has a background in structured finance and M&A. At FAM, he is involved in supporting portfolio management tasks of l/s and l/o strategies. He holds a bachelor degree in Economics and Finance and is currently pursuing a master degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance. He is a competitive tennis player and lifelong skier.
